No. 2664 CITY OF WHITEFISH NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER A ZONING TEXT AMENDMENT TO ADD ARTICLE Y, CHAPTER 2, TITLE 11, WB-T, BUSINESS TRANSITIONAL DISTRICT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at its regular meeting to be held November 7, 2022, at 7:10 p.m. in the Whitefish City Council Chambers at 418 East Second Street, the Whitefish City Council will again consider a request by the City of Whitefish to amend Chapter 2 of Title 11 of the City Code of Ordinances in order to add Article Y: WB-T Business Transitional District. This addition to the Zoning Regulations is in response to the recently adopted Highway 93 South Corridor Plan and is intended to provide a heavily landscaped, performance-based, mixed-use environment in the community gateway areas that border Highway 93 South just south of Highway 40. It would apply to commercial properties currently zoned County B-4 seeking annexation. This item was tabled at the May 2 City Council meeting and brought back via Council direction during the October 17, 2022, Council meeting. (WZTA 22-01) Any individual may appear at the public meeting and be heard with any comments on the zoning text amendment. A copy of the ordinance will be linked to the City Council meeting agenda which will be published on the city website five days prior to the hearing.
