4:20 p.m. Though the caller did not see the incident, some “kids'' said they did and explained that a white pickup with a black boat trailer hit the street light post on Dakota Avenue. The caller said wires were exposed and the public works department was quick to clean it up.

October 5

1:14 p.m. According to the caller, people are “ripping through” the neighborhood despite a ‘slow down’ sign she erected. She says law enforcement told her she was allowed to do so and that a man just harassed her by moving it out of the way. She would like drivers to be reasonable and wants an officer presence on Lupfer Avenue.

11:31 a.m. A green Jetta parked on Shiloh Avenue earned a citation for blocking the path of delivery vehicles.

12:40 p.m. The caller said his neighbor on Crestwood Drive left the garbage out and bears got into it last night, thus, garbage is strewn all over the ground today.
