Police Calls: Two egging incidents, no sunny side about them

September 28
9:53 a.m. A muffler was reported stolen from a piece of construction equipment on Lion Mountain Loop.
11:49 a.m. It was reported that teens in a car in the drive-through on Highway 93 appeared to be smoking weed and pouring out the water from their pipes.
1:01 p.m. A suspicious man on Meadowlark Lane warranted extra patrol in the area because he was taking pictures of a resident’s door and lock.
5:52 p.m. Kids playing music “way too loud” somewhere near the dog park spurred a caller to request that law enforcement ask them to turn it down.
September 29
11:17 a.m. Either last night or sometime this morning, a business on Baker Avenue was egged.
10:23 p.m. There was extremely loud music going on at a house on Ridgecrest Drive until the party responsible for it turned it down.
September 30
8:07 a.m. A small black bear was moving through the area on Wisconsin Avenue.
1:34 p.m. A dog was bit by another dog at the dog park and sustained puncture wounds requiring medical care. The owner of the wounded dog needs more information about the other dog’s owner so they can pay the vet bills.
October 1
11:04 a.m. There was some vandalism at a house on Labrie Drive in the form of eggs and toilet paper and the caller believes he knows who is responsible for it.
11:24 a.m. Someone found a male, neutered Rottweiler. The pup was transported to the shelter.
1:07 p.m. Three male subjects with criminal histories were sitting on a bench on Central Avenue interacting with the race runners and drinking. They were issued citations for open containers and when they and their white pickup with a white and green camper were asked to move along, they said they were unloading. It was reported they appeared to be unloading puppies.
4:55 p.m. An intoxicated man who couldn’t walk straight, got into a vehicle and drove away, down Highway 93.
7:19 p.m. The caller told police the man on the corner by the O’Shaughnessy Center was selling puppies and was highly intoxicated. The caller believed selling animals thusly is not legal.
9:08 p.m. The homeowner on Creekwood Drive returned home after his dogs had been barking for over an hour. This is an ongoing issue.
9:27 p.m. Someone tried to use a fake ID to buy alcohol at a business on Highway 40.
11:57 p.m. The caller thinks there has been an event happening on Wisconsin Avenue and they think the kids are trying to have fun, but they are super loud and it’s been going on for a while. They were asked to keep the noise down.
1:08 a.m. Two males with flashlights were seen trying to take the screens off the windows at a house on Idaho Avenue. It was determined later that, even though they entered through the window, they were supposed to be there.
2:49 a.m. An aggressive male was threatening people on Central Avenue.
October 2
10:00 a.m. There were vehicles parked on River Lakes Parkway despite the ‘no parking’ sign.
11:50 a.m. Two mountain bikes and the bike lock were reported stolen from a bike rack on Central Avenue sometime between yesterday afternoon and this morning.
8:39 p.m. She locked the keys in her car when parked at a business on Highway 93.
