Whitefish Bear Fair

The City of Whitefish, Republic Services and Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks invite the public to the Whitefish Bear Fair, Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Depot Park.

The Whitefish Bear Fair is a free and family-friendly educational event to "roll out" the City's Bear Resistant Container Program. Wind River Bear Institute will have Karelian Bear Dog Demonstrations and participants can learn how to use Bear Spray and take part in other educational opportunities pertaining to living in bear country.

Please note, there will be no real bears at the event, but we do ask that you leave your pets at home.
