To the Whitefish Community:

The Thanksgiving holiday is a time that I truly value, as it is an opportunity for me to express my appreciation to the educators, trustees, students, administrators, families, and the community of Whitefish for all you do for our students.

This year I want to celebrate our continued resiliency and commitment to students. It is evident more than ever that our collaborative efforts directly impact the success of our schools.

Imagine my delight to see the progress our students have made in assessment results following the pandemic years. Not only are we seeing growth in academics on a state and national level, but our co-curricular, extra-curricular, arts, and athletic activities are also achieving at high levels — including divisional and state playoffs this year. Your support of students in the classroom, the theater, and on the field is invaluable!

Returning to school after a pandemic has had its own challenges, as we continue to seek ways to support our students. I think what we do comes down to a relentless focus on helping all students succeed in a broad variety of venues. Every day I come to work knowing that our staff is committed to each student’s growth and progress. The integrity of our schools was not broken by the challenges of the past two years, and our students are thriving in so many areas.

Strong relationships in our community and a deep sense of helping each other are what make Whitefish special. As we carve the turkey or dig into the pie this Thanksgiving, I am grateful for the participation of our entire community as we work together for the future of our students and schools.
