Trees take a hit from first snowfall

| November 9, 2022 1:00 AM

The first snowfall of the season in Whitefish did not wait for fall to be finished and dropped several inches of wet snow on trees that were still sporting their leaves.

Snow fell most of the day on Wednesday, Nov. 2 and power outages were widespread as limbs crashed down all over the area.

Baker and Riverside Parks were temporarily closed due to the downed tree limbs and businesses paused or continued to operate in the dark while power was eventually restored.
