I am "allowed to stand on the main street" because the First Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees me that right.
It is my patriotic duty to protest "nasty" legislation and policies that harm BIPOC, trans youth, and women.
It is my patriotic duty to call out the right-wing extremists in our local, state, and federal government.
Your veiled threat is noted. I trust that Chief Kelch will direct his officers to continue to protect me as I exercise my right to free expression.
