Police calls: Older woman on playground makes strange gestures
March 19
8:34 a.m. Someone called to complain that their neighbors are loud, they litter, and they park incorrectly on Aspen Grove Street.
10:29 a.m. A woman’s apple watch keeps calling 911 from inside the woman’s suitcase.
March 20
12:08 a.m. More than one caller reported seeing a vehicle with two flat tires drive down Sixth Street, hit the pedestrian crosswalk sign, then head south on Spokane Avenue.
8:49 a.m. Multiple callers reported a man wandering barefoot in the snow around Tumblehome Avenue. Police offered him a coat but he refused.
9:13 a.m. Two tall males aroused suspicions as they brushed their teeth then drove away from a parking lot on Wisconsin Avenue. The pair and their small dog are possibly squatting there.
7:48 p.m. Some energetic children grabbed their dad’s phone from his gym locker and pushed random buttons, thereby calling 911 accidentally.

4:10 p.m. Someone called Monday to report the loss of two snowboards on Saturday. It is believed they were taken from the caller’s vehicle.
10:20 p.m. A woman on Edgewood Place was advised of noise ordinances and told to keep it down after loud noises and sounds of furniture moving in the apartment were reported.
March 22
9:08 a.m. The construction truck that had been parked on Marina Crest Lane for a month finally got a parking violation sticker.
9:32 a.m. A hopeful parallel parker on Third Street was unaware he damaged another vehicle when he backed into it before realizing that particular parking spot was not large enough.
2:40 p.m. Dogs managed to evade an owner who was trying to corral them on Peregrine Lane.
5:23 p.m. A caller believes a woman should not be on the playground on Edgewood Place because she is acting “erratically,” making weird gestures, and rapidly doing things around the play equipment.
