House fire benefit fund supports local family

| March 16, 2022 1:00 AM

Dear Whitefish Schools extended family,

Our high school secretary, Jenny St. Onge and her husband Kelly lost their entire house including all its contents to a fire last week. Our internal teams have made sure they are safe and have established a system to support Jenny and Kelly throughout their recovery while being careful to respect their personal lives.

The best way to help is to make a direct donation to the St. Onge Benefit Fund at the Whitefish Credit Union. You can donate cash or check at any Whitefish Credit Union branch or the main office at each of the Whitefish schools. All donations will be anonymous and donors are asked to refrain from including any notes or cards with their donation.

This method has been specifically designed to comply with the wishes of the St. Onge family. With so many people asking how they can help, it will funnel the wide array of support from various individuals and community organizations toward a common benefit source.

On behalf of our entire team, thank you for your genuine care and support. Jenny has been working with us for 23 years and while our hearts are heavy for their loss, they are also filled with gratitude for living in such a close-knit and caring community.

Kerry Drown is the principal at Whitefish High School. With support team: Meg Judd, Kelliann Blackburn, Lyndsey Marshall, Dave Means, Lacey Eccles and Sadie Walker.
