Whitefish Community Foundation scholarship application cycle opens March 1

Whitefish Community Foundation offers five scholarship opportunities for Flathead Valley high school seniors and graduates who intend to enroll in a post-secondary educational institution this fall. Applications must be completed online between March 1 and April 7 at 4 p.m. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

The Jean Atkinson Driggers Scholarship Fund awards one $2,500 scholarship annually to a student who attended Olney-Bissell School. The scholarship was created in memory of Jean Atkinson Driggers, who taught at Olney-Bissell for 25 years and was passionate about helping children achieve their highest potential. There is no minimum GPA required to apply.

The Montana Coffee Traders Scholarship Fund awards two $1,000 scholarships annually. One scholarship is awarded to an eligible Montana Coffee Traders employee or child or legal dependent of an eligible employee. The second scholarship is awarded to a Flathead Valley resident. A high school or current college GPA. of 3.0 or higher is required to apply.

The Glacier Restaurant Group – R.I.S.E. Scholarship Fund awards two $2,500 scholarships annually. Applicants must be an eligible employee of Glacier Restaurant Group or the child or legal dependent of an eligible Glacier Restaurant Group employee. A high school or current college GPA of 3.5 or higher is required to apply.
