Rodney L. Strunk

Rodney L. Strunk of Ray, North Dakota passed away Monday, Feb. 14, 2022 at the Tioga Medical Center in Tioga, North Dakota. Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home of Tioga is assisting the family. Friends may sign the online register and give their condolences at www.fulkersons.com

Rodney L. Strunk was born Nov. 23, 1959 in Whitefish, Montana to LeRoy and Louise Strunk.

Growing up, Rod was a man with many passions, drumming, fast cars, loving the outdoors to name a few.

Rod was a homebody. He took pride in working and manicuring his yard and gardens. His four dogs and two cats followed him around and kept him company. In the last few years, he discovered a passion for drawing. As a child playing with Tonka Toys, this fascination grew into a passion for being a heavy equipment operator for the past 40-plus years.

Laughter was a staple in Rod’s life. The time he spent with his many friends and family was very important to him. He was a loving father to his son, Jessie.

He married Candise Adams on April 24, 2004. Their marriage was two months shy of celebrating 18 years full of love and laughter together.

Rod is survived by his wife, Candise of Ray, North Dakota; son, Jessie of Billings, Montana.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service for Rodney will be held at a later date.
