Summer adventures at the Library
Whitefish Community Library’s first week of Summer Adventures is in the books.
Complements of North Valley Music School, families enjoyed a preschool music class and played (or tried to) an exotic assortment of musical instruments on International Make Music Day, traditionally celebrated on the summer solstice.
Whitefish Lake Institute’s Science and Education Director, Cynthia Ingelfinger, brought the world of tiny aquatic animals to life on June 23 during a presentation that included identifying the creatures by their tails and the way they wiggled.
Alpine Theatre Project is the next Summer Adventure at the library. Meet in the library’s Big Back Yard on Thursday, June 30 at 10:30 a.m. with ATP’s “Chief Evangelist,” Luke Walrath.
“He never tells us what he’s going to do, but it’s always entertaining,” said a library spokesperson.
