Glacier Twins sweep Lakers 4 in a row

The Glacier Twins went 4-0 on in a sweep of the Kalispell Lakers A and AA squads.

The Twins dropped Kalispell A 5-2 and 8-4 on Wednesday and then beat the AA team 4-2 Friday in extra innings and 3-1 on Saturday.

On Wednesday, the Twins opened it up with four in the bottom of the sixth. Kellen Kroger and Mason Peters both had RBIs in the inning.

Talon Murphy got the win on the mound with no runs and one hit over five innings.

In the second game, Glacier built a 5-run lead at the end of four. Peters got the win on the mound, allowing four hits over five innings.

AC Chilson had two RBIs in the win.

Against the AA squad on Friday, Glacier scored two runs in the top of the 10th for the win after trying it up in the top of the ninth. Peters had two RBIs in the win.

On Saturday, the Twins scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth and held on for the win.

Mikey Glass had an RBI and Hayden Meehan had two in the victory. Kellen Kroger and Maddox Muller combined allowed just two hits. Kroger struck out four over five innings in the start.
