Police Calls: Suspicious minds and a guest who won’t leave

June 16
3:03 a.m. A caller was suspicious of six males walking around the building and looking into cars on Park Avenue. He also heard them giggling.
3:38 a.m. A male has been seen in the back parking lot on Baker Avenue for two hours.
9:47 a.m. Someone lost their full grown black cat.
10:19 a.m. The male with an american flag coming out of his backpack rode his bike away, wearing a full face helmet and the caller thought it looked out of place.
12:41 p.m. The tire shop said they had a few customers with loosened lug nuts due to a TicTok challenge so the caller suspects someone loosened the lug nuts on their truck.
5:30 p.m. The caller just wanted the police to know that deer are trying to cross the street on Baker Avenue and traffic is really horrible.
6:04 p.m. Vehicles are reportedly speeding on Baker Avenue and the caller is concerned about the cyclists trying to use the road.
11:11 p.m. The owner was warned for having dogs barking constantly on Lupfer Avenue.
June 18
5:16 a.m. A bear knocked over a garbage can in the alley on Spokane Avenue.
10:43 a.m. Someone on Lakeshore Drive is missing a brown, medium-sized dog.
1:58 p.m. The caller wants the male who keeps coming onto the property to be kicked out and charged with trespassing.
June 19
10:12 a.m. A suspicious male in with a backpack was loitering in the back yard on Columbia Avenue.
3:12 p.m. A caller reported a man pulling a buggy behind him on JP Road because he did not think he belonged in the neighborhood.
3:59 p.m. A male was wandering around the front yard on Columbia Avenue while carrying a plastic cup before lying down on the porch so the caller reported him as suspicious.
4:24 p.m. The suspicious man on Columbia Avenue has been removed from the area.
4:56 p.m. Someone called the police with questions about a guest who has been staying with him for a while and is now refusing to leave.
June 20
2:07 a.m. A suspicious Sprinter van on Highway 93 will be moving along.
3:44 p.m. A larger black dog was running loose on Wisconsin Avenue.
June 21
7:37 a.m. The caller thought it was the neighbors’ light brown dog that was not contained and running around Parkway Drive.
9:45 a.m. There was some sort of debris floating in the lake, possibly a dock, but was too far out to see.
2:35 p.m. The responsible party moved the car after a parking complaint was called in.
4:11 p.m. It seemed to the caller that four people, possibly teenagers, were hanging around a house under construction on Washington Avenue.
7:51 p.m. Reportedly, there were people driving down the bike path on Lakeside Boulevard.
10:07 p.m. Adding to an ongoing issue with noise, a male was yelling and revving the engine of his car in the alley behind Second Street.
10:50 p.m. An employee of a business on Central Avenue returned to his car after work to find the back window broken.
11:23 p.m. Everyone was gone and the location on Edgewood Place was quiet when the police officer arrived, but the caller says the neighbors party every Tuesday and Thursday.
