Residents need to be heard about Big Mountain Road development

I am writing this to question why a majority of residents opposing the Mountain Gateway Development aren’t heard by their elected Whitefish City Council? Just the fact that this development doesn’t fit into the vision that we have for Whitefish should be enough. Then add all of the “issues” surrounding this development which should be enough to squelch it.

These developers will be here and gone in a flash to other abysmal projects as we have seen before and Whitefish will be left with the aftermath.

There are cities that have been able to proscribe what they want for their communities and they have succeeded. Why do we in Whitefish not have a say in the future of our community?

Think about this the next time you vote.
