Don “K” Subaru and the Subaru Love Promise program donated $3,300 to the Humane Society of Northwest Montana, the hometown charity selected by the employees of the dealership for the Subaru Loves Pets program held in October of this year.

“The Subaru Loves Pets program is one of five annual giving programs supported by dealers like Don ‘K’ Subaru to benefit hometown charities doing important work,” Don “K” general manager Kevin Kaltschmidt explained. “We at Don ‘K’ and Subaru corporate know that our loyal Subaru drivers believe brands have a philanthropic responsibility to support good causes and take action to improve our community. We could not agree more.”

Stacie DaBolt, executive director of the Humane Society of Northwest Montana was on hand to receive the donation.

“We are so incredibly grateful for the good people of Don ‘K’ Subaru whose generous donation will make it possible for us to help lost or abandoned animals find safe and healthy forever homes,” she said.

Subaru has donated over $42 million to national and local organizations that help in the adoption, rescue, transportation and health of nearly 350,000 animals since Subaru Loves Pets was established. Don “K” Subaru has been an active partner since its inception.
