3 Bulldogs picked for 2023 Shrine Game

The rosters for the 76th East-West Shrine Game were released on Christmas, and the Flathead Valley was well represented.

Guard Kai Nash, cornerback Fynn Ridgeway and defensive tackle Montana Cohenour of Whitefish were named to the 40-man West roster, which includes the Helena schools.

The all-star game is set for June 17 in Butte in 2023.

Defensive end Nick Walker and cornerback Isak Epperly of Bigfork were selected, as was inside linebacker Cy Stevenson of Libby.

AA champion Helena Capital put five players on the roster, including running back Tom Carter and tight end Hayden Opitz.

The West quarterbacks are Jarrett Wilson of Polson and Partrick Duchien of two-time State B champion Florence.

Thompson Falls is represented by Eli Ratliff at cornerback.

Glacier standouts Gage Sliter and Jackson Hensley were named as alternates, as were Columbia Falls athletes Brandon Role and Justin Windauer. Bigfork’s Ethan Rodriguez and Bryce Gilliard are alternates as well, as is Polson’s Trent Wilson at safety..

The East roster includes quarterback Gage Norslien of State A champion Lewistown, linebacker Garrett Metrione of 8-man champion Belt and receiver Brayden Cline of 6-man champion Big Sandy.
