Ski Swap raging success
Dear fellow outdoor enthusiasts,
Happy winter from our crew to yours. We are thrilled to be able to say this year's annual ski swap at The Wave was our best year ever. Everyone turned out in full force on Saturday, Nov. 5 to buy new and used ski and winter gear. And the quality of consignments available for purchase was better than ever. We have some pretty amazing volunteers that help price consignments for sale, fit people for ski boots and help set up and tear down, all weekend long. Not to mention the volunteers who man the tables, doors and parking lots helping to keep things running smoothly. As usual, The WAVE was an amazing host venue with plenty of room in the gym for everyone.
We are truly blessed to live in a small town that embraces our ski club's mission to teach kids how to ski, which is the purpose of the ski swap. All funds made, go towards our learn to ski program that runs January through March, and our grade school ski days for third through sixth grades. If you are new to the valley, check us out. We would love to teach your kids how to ski! Information can be found on the web at bigmountainskiclub.org. Again, thanks to all for your loyalty to the ski cause year after year. See you on the slopes.
Sincerely, The Cast and Crew of the Big Mountain Ski Club
