City Council preview for Sept. 6
Whitefish City Council meets on Tuesday, Sept. 6 beginning at 7:10 p.m. at City Hall.

Individuals are encouraged to provide written public comment to the City Clerk, Michelle Howke at mhowke@cityofwhitefish.org or deliver by 4 p.m. on Sept. 6, at City Hall in the Utility Drop Box.
Items on the agenda, subject to change:
-Consideration to approve the application for Smith Lake Public Recreation Use Easement and Restoration Project.
-Consideration of Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee and Park Board’s recommended conceptual plan for Riverbend Trail.
-Consideration of an ordinance to rezone approximately 66.4 acres of land located to the east of E. Second Street and south of E. Edgewood Drive.
-Consideration of a request from 1291 Edgewood LLC for a Growth Policy map amendment, zoning map amendment, preliminary plat and planned unit development overlay.
-Consideration to review and adopt the 2022 Transportation Plan.
-Reconsideration of an ordinance to rezone approximately 31.2 acres of land from County SAG-5 (Suburban Agricultural) to WCR (Country Residential District).
-Consideration of a request from Birch Hill Homeowner Association for a Whitefish Lake and Lakeshore Protection minor variance to extend a grandfathered community dock.
-Consideration of a request from D&S Perl Family Trust for a Whitefish Lake and Lakeshore Protection minor variance at 298 Skyles Place.
-Other matters that may arise between Aug. 31 and Sept. 6.
