Florida man who recently died in Glacier Park identified
Glacier National Park has released the identity of the victim of a fall on Rising
Wolf Mountain in the Two Medicine Valley as 79-year-old Bob Biondi of
Lutz, Florida.
Biondi fell to his death while attempting to ascend a steep off-trail slope with a
group of friends on Monday, July 25. The incident occurred several hundred
feet above the Two Medicine Campground on Rising Wolf Mountain. Park
Service staff mobilized after campers heard shouts for help.
Biondi fell about 300 feet, according to Glacier County coroner Cpl. Jason
Sullivan.
Two Bear Air transported Biondi to Two Medicine Ranger Station where ALERT
was standing by for patient care. Biondi was declared deceased by ALERT
personnel.
