City Council preview for Aug. 15
Whitefish City Council meets on Monday, Aug. 15 beginning at 7:10 p.m. at City Hall.

Individuals are encouraged to provide written public comment to the City Clerk, Michelle Howke at mhowke@cityofwhitefish.org or deliver by 4 p.m. on Aug. 15, at City Hall in the Utility Drop Box.
Items on the agenda, subject to change:
-A public hearing for various aspects of the FY23 budget, tax levy and assessments
-Consideration of a resolution to accept and approve the municipal budget for the City of Whitefish for the 2023 Fiscal Year.
-Consideration of a request from Vincent Remmel for a conditional use permit to operate a recreational marijuana dispensary in the WB-3, general business district, located at 333 Baker Avenue.
-Consideration of an ordinance to rezone approximately 31 acres of land from County SAG-5, or Suburban Agricultural, to WCR, Country Residential District.
-Consideration of an ordinance to rezone approximately 19 acres of unaddressed land located between Park Knoll Lane and JP Road to a split zoning of WER, Estate Residential District, and WR-2, Two-Family Residential; And to rezone 11 acres of land at 6208 U.S. Highway 93 South to a split zoning of WR-2, Two-Family Residential, and WB-2, Secondary Business District.
-Consideration of an ordinance to rezone approximately 66.4 acres of land located to the east of E. Second Street and south of E. Edgewood Drive.
-Consideration of a request from 1291 Edgewood LLC for a Growth Policy map amendment, zoning map amendment, preliminary plat and planned unit development overlay. It is referenced as the Edgewood 90 Project, located at 1291 East Edgewood Drive and unaddressed parcels to the east of East Second Street.
-Consideration to review and adopt the FY23-FY27 Capital Improvement Program.
-Other matters that may arise between Aug. 10-15.
