Home Consign and Design debuts art gallery

The local business Home Consign and Design is joining the Thursday evening Whitefish Art Walk on Aug. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Amy Ericksen, owner of Home Consign and Design introduces, “The Gallery” at Home Consign and Design. For the past few years, Ericksen says her business has played a significant part in the local art market including high-end sculptures to mural-size original paintings with everything in-between. Now the store is poised to offer representation to local and national artists.

The Gallery at Home Consign and Design will feature Joanna King, Whitefish, and Peter Frieschlag of Golden, Colorado.

King’s art combines the richness of intense colors, thick and thin mediums, and unique collage material. She experiments with unusual bits and pieces of found elements that require different application techniques.

Having lived a long life, she has a deep pool to draw from. While she loves color, it is quite possible to find some of her pieces conveying an understated and subtle conversation. For information on King visit www.406art4life.com

Frieschlag is a top-selling watercolorist in North America with studios in Golden, Colorado and Gilbert, Arizona. He is watercolorist exclusively represented by The Gallery in Whitefish.
