Whitefish Thrift Haus extends hours

The Whitefish Thrift Haus, supporting the Soroptimist International of Whitefish, will now be open an additional day each week while also expanding its operating hours daily beginning May 3.

The Whitefish Thrift Haus recently hired a general store manager for the first time in its 60-plus-year history which has enabled the nonprofit to expand its operations. The Thrift Haus and Soroptimists International of Whitefish welcome Angie Burger as the new manager. With her help, the Whitefish Thrift Haus will now open on Tuesdays, also for the first time in its history, and will be open for business from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

The nonprofit also gives a special thanks to the Flathead Valley community and the Whitefish Thrift Haus customers for helping make the recent Bag Sale for Ukraine a great success. the Soroptimists International of Whitefish was able to send $2,800 to World Central Kitchen, feeding Ukrainian refugees.
