Muldown second graders: How to cook a turkey

Second graders at Muldown Elementary School in Kitty Dowaliby and Bonnie Hannigan’s classes recently shared their directions for “how to cook a turkey.”

First I put basil on it. Next I put in the oven 7 degrees. Then I take it out of the oven and cut it up. Finally we feast on the turkey.

Isla

First get a turkey. Next put the turkey in the oven. Then put the heat for 2 hours. Finally cut it and eat and enjoy and have a good Thanksgiving.

Gage

First I buy a turkey. Next I put fruit and veggies on it. I put it in the oven. I eat the turkey.

Kyle

Get a turkey. Turn the oven to 53 degrees. Get gloves then put it in the oven. Take it out.

Camilla

Get a turkey. Put the turkey in the oven at 500 degrees. Let it cool and put some gravy on it.

Coby

First put it in the oven for 347 degrees. Next put grees on it. Then let it rest. Finally eat then enjoy it.

Harlow

First you catch it and you put in the oven. Then you open it. Finally you eat it.

Harlee

Get a turkey. Season it and put it in the oven. Then you salt it and rip off its head and put gravy. Put it on a plate. The end.

Liam

First get a turkey from SuperOne. Next you season with salt and pepper. Then cook it for ten to five.

Megyn

First you have to put in the freezer for a bit. And put in the oven. And then you got to get it out. And you got to skin it and then serve it.

You go to the store. Get sugar and turkey and flour. Then you get the turkey in the oven.

First put it in the oven at 60 degrees. Next when it is done put sugar on it. Put the spice on it. Put salt on it.

Get a turkey. Next cover the turkey with butter. Then put it in the oven. Set the oven to 40 degrees. Finally have the turkey for a feast. Invite your family to have Thanksgiving feast.

First by a turkey at Costco. Next heat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Then carefully set the turkey in the oven. Finally remove the turkey from the oven then serve it with spices.

First, get a turkey then go to the grocery store. Next set a timer for 700 degrees. Then put it in the oven when it is done take it out. Finally, set the table and put the turkey on the table.

First, drive to the store and buy the turkey. Next, you stuff the turkey with stuffing. Then, after that you cook the turkey. Finally, you can add toppings to your turkey.

First, buy the turkey from the store before you do anything else. Next, gut the turkey in the sink before the next step. Then, wash the turkey before the last step. Finally, you put the turkey in the stove.

First I hunt my turkey and put it in a bag. Next, I put it in the oven and it takes a long time. Then I set the turkey on the table and get the forks. Finally, then we all love the turkey and it was really good.

First, you must buy a turkey at a store. Next, you should wash the turkey. Then, you cook the turkey for a long time. Finally, you serve the delicious turkey.

First you need to buy the turkey. Next you have to butter the turkey so it has flavor. You have to cook the turkey so it is not mushy. You have to spice the turkey so it will be really good for the guests.
