Police calls: Driver has handgun though caller never actually saw weapon
Thursday, May 13
11:26 a.m. A caller said their neighbor built a deck and the dogs on it barking are bothersome near Baker Avenue.
2:01 p.m. Someone said their neighbor’s child was in the yard calling out their name near State Park Road.
3:48 p.m. A caller got verbally aggressive with dispatch after accidentally dialing the police near Central Avenue.
4:29 p.m. A caller wanted to report reckless driving from a gray Subaru on Hutton Ranch Road and also stated that they believed the driver had a handgun although never saw the gun.
5:44 p.m. Someone said they saw high schoolers dropping things off the top level of the parking garage on First Street.
6:50 p.m. An employer was wanting to terminate their employee but was concerned that they might be dangerous on Highway 93.

4:51 a.m. A truck was hit by another vehicle in an employee parking lot on Railway Street.
7:42 a.m. A property manager called the police to report receiving “nasty emails” from a tenant near Baker Avenue.
8:40 a.m. Someone rolled over in bed and accidentally called the police.
10:45 a.m. Someone called to report their next door neighbor’s dogs barking on Baker Avenue.
11:34 a.m. Two neighbors were having a property line dispute near Baker Avenue and were advised by police that this was a civil matter.
3:17 p.m. Someone said their spouse was trying to play music and accidentally called 911 near Spokane Avenue.
11:48 p.m. A caller claimed someone was brandishing weapons at a location on Central Avenue.
Saturday, May 15
8:28 a.m. An iPhone called the police while in a cupholder in a car near Wisconsin Avenue.
8:56 a.m. A caller said their white Cadilac was sideswiped while parked on Central Avenue.
11:26 a.m. A caller believed tools were stolen from the back of their truck, but also might have just fallen out near Wisconsin Avenue.
4:16 p.m. Someone called to report people were parking on both sides of West Shore State Park Road and it’s not allowed.
8:48 p.m. A caller said a child was in the front passenger seat of a black Dodge and not wearing a seatbelt near State Park.
Sunday, May 16
12:39 p.m. Guests were refusing to leave a hotel room off Highway 93 and the manager wanted them removed.
12:54 p.m. A caller said their spouse was a victim of a phone scam and sent some money away.
1:10 p.m. A two-year-old was accidentally locked in a car off Highway 93.
7:01 p.m. Someone’s neighbor was yelling for help inside their apartment near Lupfer Avenue.
8:28 p.m. A caller said three juveniles were using golf clubs and hitting the rock columns on the bridge.
