Looking Back for May 26
Odd Fellows and Rebekahs of Montana presented a wheelchair to the Whitefish Memorial Hospital in August of 1957. The Odd Fellows and Rebekahs had presented thousands of dollars of hospital equipment, including two iron longs, to Montana hospitals under a special program. From left to right, were Whitney Smith, president of the hospital board; Edna Stokes, superintendent of nurses; Gwynn Pinney, head of the local Rebekah lodge, and C.V. Coe, representing the Grand Master of Odd Fellows and the President of the Rebekah assembly.
