Police Calls: A ‘squatty’ lady might be peddling puppies
Wednesday, April 28
8:59 a.m. Someone’s vehicle was vandalized overnight on Columbia Avenue.
10:21 a.m. A caller wanted extra patrol in the neighborhood around school pickup times due to people speeding on Creekwood Drive.
11:48 a.m. A burglar alarm falsely went off near Sugarbowl Circle.
12:12 p.m. A caller was confused about where they were and said they needed to get a hold of the FBI near Seventh Street.
2:02 p.m. A brown Ford car was broken down in the middle of Highway 93 needing a tow.
2:23 p.m. A caller was concerned about some girls walking on the ledge on top of the parking garage on Second Street.
6:50 p.m. Someone said a woman in her 40s nearly ran them off the road speeding on Wisconsin Avenue.
8:04 p.m. Someone called to report their neighbor continually parking their truck in the alley and blocking the trash trucks from getting through on Washington Avenue.
11:42 p.m. A caller reported someone acting suspiciously in the area and that person was just waiting for their friend near Birch Point Drive.

5:19 a.m. A caller said someone wearing a purple sweater and yellow scarf wanted them to call but wouldn’t say why they were in distress.
10:19 a.m. A vehicle showed up on Columbia Avenue unknown who it belonged to.
5:17 p.m. A white truck on Baker Avenue was swerving and someone allegedly saw the driver with an open container of alcohol.
6:44 p.m. An old farm truck was sitting on the side of the road near the viaduct and a caller said they were waiting for parts to fix it.
7:52 p.m. A caller witnessed a driver park their truck on top to the bushes at a condominium complex and drunkenly stumble to a residence near JP road.
8:52 p.m. A caller said they had limited information about an older, “squatty” lady that might be peddling puppies and mistreating them near Second Street.
Friday, April 30
11:23 a.m. A caller wanted to report potential identity theft after an unknown person was using the caller’s phone number.
12:10 p.m. A friendly, brown dog was loose on Fourth Street.
2:11 p.m. A child accidentally called police through their gaming headset near Aspen Grove Street.
5:17 p.m. Someone was on the ground with a crowd of people around them on Wisconsin Avenue.
10:57 p.m. A caller said someone was acting strangely by walking up and down the street near Sixth Avenue.
Saturday, May 1
1:15 a.m. Someone trying to steal a bottle of liquor at a bar on Central Avenue was pinned down until police could get there.
7:48 a.m. A caller said they had a dog which the owner was supposed to pick up the day prior but didn’t show up near Flathead Avenue.
12:14 p.m. Someone wanted to speak to an officer about a person who came to their home making threats.
12:42 p.m. Guests at a business on Flathead Avenue were refusing to leave even though checkout was at 11 a.m.
12:59 p.m. A caller said a package containing silk ribbon was stolen from their porch on Washington Avenue.
2:46 p.m. A caller said kids on bikes came at her and pushed her down near Baker Avenue.
4:23 p.m. An older man that regularly hitch hikes was on the shoulder of the road not the sidewalk on according to a caller.
5:47 p.m. A caller was reporting that someone stole at least one shirt and a large amount of kids clothes at a business on Highway 93.
9:31 p.m. A caller wanted a gold bicycle with a zipper pouch in the middle of the handlebars removed from the front of their store on Central Avenue.
Sunday, May 2
1:40 a.m.A caller said they were pushed outside of a bar by a bouncer on Central Avenue.
1:45 a.m. A caller was worried about their partially blind friend who might have taken some drugs.
6:53 p.m. Someone was putting an iPhone into a case and accidentally called the police.
7:56 p.m. A caller said they saw a group people get out of a van and believed them to be illegal immigrants taking jobs from locals.
9:36 p.m. Someone was rear-ended while driving on Flathead Avenue.
Monday, May 3
6:27 a.m. A caller said they woke up this morning and their car was not at the house and recalled waking up in a ditch somewhere.
12:58 p.m. Someone reported a transient sleeping and wanted them moved along Highway 93.
8:02 p.m. Someone found medicine in the parking lot of a store on Highway 93 and wanted to turn it in.
