Police calls: Lost wallet was found under caller’s pillow
Saturday, June 19
2:36 p.m. A heavily tanned person who was intoxicated was making verbal threats to customers in a business on Central Avenue.
3:12 p.m. Someone woke up and their license plates were missing on Denver Street.
4:36 p.m. A red and a black car were reported racing up and down Voerman Road.
5:48 p.m. A caller said they heard noises but couldn’t tell if it was someone in distress or just kids near Lakeside Boulevard.
6:41 p.m. Someone was coming in and out of a restaurant near Third Street trying to fight people and yelling according to a caller.
7:53 p.m. A deer ran into the side of a vehicle driving on Wisconsin Avenue and then wandered off.
10:05 p.m. A caller said a young person wandered into their house thinking they were in Columbia Falls and confused about how much Fireball whiskey they drank near Elderberry Loop.
Sunday, June 20
7:15 p.m. A caller said a valid Montana fishing license was left in a vehicle they recently bought near Greenwood Drive.
Monday, June 21
8:16 a.m. Someone called to report a person who tried to rent their condo last week was a scam near Second Street.
9:10 a.m. A caller woke up and noticed their car was missing near Highway 93.
4:10 p.m. Someone pushed the wrong button on their phone accidentally dialing 911.
6:34 p.m. Someone found a wallet with cash and credit cards on the ground on Central Avenue.
8:09 p.m. A caller said some young people were sucking something out of their car with a hose and didn’t know why they were doing that at a gas station on Highway 93.
10:02 p.m. A caller said they lost their wallet near City Beach, but then called back saying they found it under their pillow.
Tuesday, June 22
8:24 p.m. People in a parking lot on Highway 93 were “behaving very sloppily.”
1:12 p.m. A caller said they needed a vehicle inspection because they were being harassed by their mother-in-law.
3:40 p.m. A caller reported that vehicles are speeding by all the time on Dakota Avenue.
7:50 p.m. Someone got upset about the way a vehicle was parking near City Beach and came by threatening the other driver according to a caller.
Wednesday, June 23
1:43 a.m. A caller said a newspaper paper driver didn’t seem to have a muffler and “keeps waking up the neighborhood” near Flatwater Drive.
1 p.m. A caller reported that someone in a yellow vest was hanging out on Seventh Street but there weren’t any greatly concerning issues.
3:27 p.m. Two campers and a group of people were barbequing on the side of the road on Railway Street and a caller didn’t think they should be there.
8:40 p.m. A caller said an ashtray on Central Avenue caught on fire and wouldn’t go out.
11:31 p.m. A caller said they were missing a 10-year-old blind dog that may be aggressive with strangers near Hospital Way.
