Joyce Gallo-Bonner

Joyce Gallo-Bonner, 91, of Whitefish, passed away on June 17, 2021 at her residence at Timber Creek in Columbia Falls.

Joyce was born in Spokane, Washington, on Aug. 15, 1929 to William and Ester Brendel. Joyce grew up and attended school in Whitefish. She graduated high school in 1947. She worked for the Flathead County Tax office and also the Whitefish Phone Co. Joyce enjoyed being part of the community and groups such as the Red Hat’s, the Moose, VFW and Women of the Catholic Church.

Joyce is survived by her sons Paul (Jane) Gallo and Roger Gallo. She also has one niece and five nephews.

Joyce’s favorite memory was in 2004 when she was able to go to Italy with family and she was able to see the Pope in person.
