Police Calls: Caller reports half-naked people laying in yard

Saturday, June 12
9:02 a.m. Someone was having trouble with their landline and accidentally called the police near Seventh Street.
11:02 a.m. A caller said someone broke into their house and trashed the place near City Beach.
11:47 a.m. Someone said their license plate was stolen off their truck on Highway 93.
12:25 p.m. A caller said a blue truck pulled out and dinged their Subaru’s mirror near Baker Avenue.
5:31 p.m. Someone received a ticket in the mail after letting their friend drive their car while out of town.
8:03 p.m. A caller said a dog belonging to a transient person attacked their dog while walking by on Central Avenue.
11:41 p.m. A group of people in a hot tub were being too loud according to a caller on Wisconsin Avenue.
Sunday, June 13
11:08 a.m. A caller complained that two people on Spruce Court kept leaving their trash cans out all week and was concerned about the bears.
11:18 a.m. A caller said at least six people were at the baseball fields shooting off fireworks.
12:22 p.m. Someone said a beehive had formed inside a hollow metal bench near Oregon Avenue.
1:34 p.m. A caller said two dogs, the owner of which is unknown, attacked and killed a deer in the caller’s yard near Texas Avenue.
4:20 p.m. A disoriented driver hit a pole on the corner of Pine Avenue.
7:24 p.m. A caller reported that a group of “half-naked people” were laying in their yard near Fourth Street.
7:59 p.m. Someone pushed the buttons on their iPhone too many times which called the police.
Monday, June 14
12:49 p.m. A young child was injured after a car hit them on Fourth Street.
2:09 p.m. A caller said several people, probably tourists, were in the gazebo at Depot Park with unleashed dogs.
3:22 p.m. A caller said people building a house nearby dug a trench in the road and is concerned it will cause accidents on O’Brien Avenue.
5:41 p.m.Someone called to report a tan car parked illegally at City Beach.
Tuesday, June 15
8:53 a.m. A caller said they heard gunshots coming from the south of their home near Pheasant Run.
11:32 a.m. A drunk driver pulled into a hotel parking lot on Highway 93 according to the employee calling 911.
1:09 p.m. A small black car’s engine caught on fire and flames raged from the vehicle on Wisconsin Avenue according to a caller.
4:21 p.m. A caller said a group of people on Central Avenue “have some dogs” and look like “they’re completely wasted.”
