Police calls: Neighbor’s cats ‘spilling over’ into yard

Friday, June 4

8:03 a.m. A trailer had been parked on Fourth Street and the owner was refusing to come out, threatening to bring out their guns.

8:45 a.m. A caller claimed their neighbor’s cats were “spilling over” onto their property and ruining their garden on Edgewood Place.

12:14 p.m. Someone said their neighbor was using their roof to build a house on Karrow Avenue.

5:04 p.m. A caller was concerned about how traffic was being directed through a construction zone on Reservoir Road.

5:52 p.m. A maroon Kia Sorento was speeding and swerving coming into Whitefish on Highway 93.

6:19 p.m. Someone accidentally called 911 trying to turn their phone off near Iron Horse Drive.

10:19 p.m. A caller said they were locked out of the condo they were staying at on Pack Rat Lane.

Saturday, June 5

11:28 a.m. A caller said they lost their spouse near the south end of the viaduct.

3:56 p.m. Residents complained people were dumping trash in the vacant lot near the recycling center on Railway Street.

6:09 p.m. A caller said kids were repeat offenders breaking into houses near city beach.

Sunday, June 6

7:35 a.m. A caller said two people climbed over the wall and jumped in a pool near Lakeshore Drive.

12:14 p.m. A caller said they were bit by a dog at the WAG Park and the owner of the dog was getting upset because they called the police.

7:38 p.m. Someone said they were leaving their office in the Mountain Mall and were nervous about trucks parked in the lot near their car.

2:05 p.m. A caller was concerned about two kids trying to learn to ride electric bikes in a field nearby.

5:26 p.m. A caller said they believed their spouse was driving under the influence on Edgewood Place possibly heading to Kila.

4:14 a.m. A caller said a bear got into their garage, had garbage sitting out front of their house near Suncrest Drive.

6:28 a.m. Cement contractors were making a lot of noise near Cottonwood Court.

9:53 a.m. Someone was complaining about a car speeding through the neighborhood on Kalispell Avenue.

12:01 p.m. A John Wayne flask and two incense burners were stolen from a place on Central Avenue.

4:03 p.m. A caller said someone parked next to them and slammed a truck door into their car on First Street.

5:48 p.m. A caller said someone was excessively revving their engine outside a business on Highway 93.

6:30 p.m. A train was blocking access to a home on L M Beach Lane.

8:55 p.m. A caller said a graduation party was going on a few houses down on Somers Avenue.

Wednesday, June 9

11:36 a.m. Someone was trying to install their Apple Watch and accidentally dialled 911.

1:29 p.m. A caller was concerned about third-grade aged children running across the road without looking on Central Avenue.

3:24 p.m. A caller was complaining that a train had been blocking the road for over an hour and it's been so long that people were actually crawling under the train near Lakeshore Drive.
