WHS graduation Saturday
Whitefish High School is hosting its graduation ceremony for the Class of 2021 on Saturday, June 5.
The ceremony begins at 1 p.m. in the WHS gymnasium. There are 138 graduates in this year’s class.
The senior class motto by John Wooden is, “Things work out best for those who make the best of how things work out.”
Graduates who have earned a GPA of 3.5 or above will wear an honor medallion and students in National Honor Society wear a gold cord during the ceremony.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, attendees will be required to wear a mask upon entering the building and throughout the ceremony.
The number of attendees will also be limited to a maximum of six family members per graduate. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis, however, family groups must sit together as to socially distance between other family groups.
Following the graduation recessional at the end of the ceremony, graduates will gather on the football field inside the track for their hat toss.
For those not able to attend the graduation ceremony, the event will be live streamed through a link on the high school website at https://whs.wsd44.org/
