No. 2603 WHITEFISH CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING At the regular meeting of the Whitefish City Council on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 7:10 pm, the Council will hold a public hearing on the item listed below. The City Council meets in Whitefish City Council Chambers, Whitefish, Montana. 1. A variance request by Don Bestwick on behalf of Project Whitefish Kids, to the Sign Regulations (Title 11, Chapter 5) in the Whitefish Jurisdiction Zoning Regulations. The applicant is proposing to install three (3) entrance signs at the 61-acre Smith Sports Fields Complex, 1701 Hospital Way, which are proposed to be 15.75 square feet per side (31.5 sq ft total) and 5 1/2-feet tall. They are requesting a variance to height, allowed sign area, and total number of signs. The property is zoned WA (General Commercial) and is located within the Residential Sign District. The Sign Regulations would limit it to one sign for non-residential uses with a height of 4 feet tall and a total area of 10 square feet. The property can be legally described as Tract 5H in Sec 07, and 2BA in Sec 08, T 30 N, R 21 W (WSV 21-01). No. 2604 NOTICE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT REQUEST FOR FLOODPLAIN DEVELOPMENT PERMIT The City of Whitefish Floodplain Administrator has received the following Floodplain Development Permit application: A request by Ben Davis/Seven Hills Construction, on behalf of Thomas and Stephany Lunzman, for a floodplain development permit to construct a single-family dwelling on a lot within the 100-year floodplain of Cow Creek. The property is located at 1011 Creekwood Drive and can be legally described as Lot 51, CKA Subdivision, in Section 32, Township 31 North, Range 22 West, P.M.M., in Flathead County, Montana. The complete application may be reviewed at the Whitefish Planning and Building Department at 418 E. 2nd Street.
