Whitefish man dies in vehicle accident

A 63-year-old Whitefish man died on Feb. 10 after sustaining serious injuries in a crash northwest of Kalispell.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, Robert Frahm was driving a Ford F150 pickup truck north on Farm to Market Road near Church Drive when it drifted off the right side of the road, hit a driveway entrance and rolled before coming to rest on its roof.

Frahm, who was wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene. Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash, according to officials. The road was snow-packed and icy.

The fatality was the 22nd on Montana roads in 2021.
