Bob Mack

Robert Lawrence “Bob” Mack was born Feb. 5, 1941, in Salida, Colorado, to Annie Lea (Breckenridge) and Fredrick James Mack. He joined older brother Fred “Fritz” Jr.
Bob grew up in Seattle where he helped with the family-owned rock excavation and landscape business. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Seattle in 1959. He proudly represented our country in the United States Army, serving in Vietnam from 1959 to 1963.
In 1956, Bob married Rita Faye (Parks). They made their home in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and soon welcomed their first child, Lea Ann to their family. Bobbi Gayle joined them in 1969. After moving to Seattle, their son Robert Jr. was born in 1970.
Bob moved to Whitefish and opened his own plumbing company, Master Plumbing and Heating, which he operated for over 30 years. He also served on the Montana Plumbing Board.
In 1983 he married the love of his life Lynne (Roche). Together they spent 38 years in the Flathead Valley area of Columbia Falls and Whitefish. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Whitefish where he also served as Grand Master, and he was a member of the Scottish Rite.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Lynne. His children, Lea Ann, Bobbi, Robert and Eric (Rose). His six grandchildren, Ashlea, Michael, Allie, Gracie, Charlotte and Conner. As well as his five great-grandchildren. His brother Fritz (Rena) Mack, niece Renee Teston and nephew Jerry Mack (Diane) of Washington.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Jim and Annie Mack.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Buffalo Hill Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that you donate to a local Veterans home or charity, the Shriners Hospital, or a children’s cancer fund.
