Chambers compete to raise money for Salvation Army

| December 1, 2021 1:00 AM

The Flathead Valley chambers of commerce are once again competing in the Chamber Ring Off Day to see which chamber can raise the most money for the Salvation Army.

The Ring Off Day is set for Dec. 2 and the chambers will be ringing bells at local kettle sites throughout the valley to see which chamber can get bragging rights for the year. The winner is announced the following day.

The Whitefish Chamber of Commerce will be taking donations at Super1 in Whitefish, the Bigfork chamber will be at Harvest Foods in Bigfork, the Evergreen chamber will be at Super1 in Evergreen and the Columbia Falls chamber will be at Super1 in Columbia Falls.

The competition for the traveling chamber trophy, currently held by Bigfork, continues through the entire season with a virtual donation kettle available at each chamber. Plus, chamber ambassadors who ring the bell at any other time during the season and let the Salvation Army know will have those donations count toward the chamber’s overall donations.
