Police Calls: Protester spotted littering

Friday, Sept. 4

6:16 a.m. Caller complained of employees at a business taking breaks outside making noise all night. 

6:18 a.m. A truck had been blocking an alley for two nights in a row near Somers Ave. and Columbia Ave.

5:27 p.m. A man appeared to be living out of a van on Central Ave. 

9:52 p.m. Fireworks were going off on Baker Ave. 

10:59 p.m. Two individuals were sleeping outside of a building on 13th Street. 

Saturday, Sept. 5

10:27 a.m. An RV parked on Shiloh Ave was an ongoing problem. 

12:44 p.m. A wallet was lost at a downtown motel. 

6:06 p.m. A backpack was lost on Central Ave. 

9:48 p.m. Two girls in mermaid costumes were panhandling downtown.

10:34 p.m. A claim that women were posing nude for a photoshoot on the walking trail was unfounded. 

Sunday, Sept. 6

10:37 a.m. A man was sleeping at the Lion Mountain Trailhead. 

6:22 p.m. A boat trailer fell off of a pickup truck on Wisconsin Ave. 

9:19 p.m. A dog staying at a Highway 93 hotel was chasing other guests.

9:39 p.m. Two young males were crawling around in the bushes outside a home on Barkley Lane. 

Monday, Sept. 7

12:42 p.m. A caller lost their driver’s license somewhere between California and Yellowstone National Park. 

5:13 p.m. A protester on Second Street was littering. 

5:37 p.m. A man on a skateboard stole a flag from demonstrators on Second Street. 

8:31 p.m. A man was seen doing yoga outside a building on private property. 

9:31 p.m. A caller on Copperwood Court complained about neighbors who put up bright lights. 

Tuesday, Sept. 8

8:46 a.m. A boat trailer had been stored on the street for a couple days on Columbia Ave.

6:14 p.m. A magenta suitcase with a bus tag on it was found.

7:47 p.m. A vehicle was parked in a no parking zone at a Highway 93 church.

Wednesday, Sept. 9

3:15 p.m. A dog had been sitting in a vehicle for more than an hour on Baker Ave.

3:47 p.m. A phone was lost on Central Avenue earlier that morning.

4:25 p.m. No one was injured when two vehicles on Second Street were involved in an accident.
