Memorial ski run for ‘Chappy’

I am writing in regards to the recent passing of Christopher “Chappy” Chapman. Chappy needs no introduction, anyone who knew him knows what an ambassador he was for the Big Mountain and the Flathead Valley. As a skier and a friend of Chappy, I am proposing that a run on the Big Mountain be named in his honor and memory. It’s my understanding there are some new runs going to be cut in, in the Grand Junction area. This would be a perfect time to name one of the new runs, “Chappys Run.” Whoever makes those decisions please consider it. Chappy and all his friends, particularly his ski buddies would be honored.
