Northwest Montana Fair accepting online entries
The 2020 Northwest Montana Fair & Rodeo is now accepting online entries for 4-H, FFA and Open Class competitions.
The annual event is scheduled for Aug. 19-23 at the Flathead County Fairgrounds in Kalispell.
Exhibitors can view a digital version of the fair book and enter competitions at nwmtfair.com/fairbook. The book is printable and contains information about rules, premiums and more. All entries are due by 5 p.m. on Aug. 1 unless indicated otherwise in the fair book. Late entries will not be accepted.
A self-service computer station is accessible in the fair office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. For exhibitors needing assistance with their entries, fair staff are available to help at the fair office, located at 265 N. Meridian Road.
The theme of this year’s fair is “Montana’s Best Homegrown.” Fairgrounds Manager Mark Campbell said they selected this year’s theme because many people are choosing to stay close to home this summer and enjoy what Montana has to offer.
“The heart of the Northwest Montana Fair is the thousands of hand-crafted, homegrown and locally raised exhibits showcasing the interests, talents and livelihoods of local residents,” Campbell said.
Fairgoers can expect to see stringent sanitation and social-distancing safety measures in place throughout the fairgrounds. “We are working closely with the Flathead County Health Department and vendors to produce the safest fair possible,” he said.
