The Bulldogs got another big test at the Cut Bank Invite last week.

Whitefish as a team took 20th out of 29 teams at the invite, and Camren Ross was the highest placer.

Ross (160) took fourth overall, falling to Orion Thivierge from Havre in the third-place match.

At 113, Kadin Brown worked his way up to the fifth round of the consolation bracket, but fell to Malta’s Cameron Mikesell.

Carter Moran (120), Leroy Orel (126), Rylee Creasey (152), Kai Nash (205) and Brian Sweeney (275) all advanced to the fourth round of the consolation bracket, but couldn’t move past.

This week the team will split its time between Thursday’s triangular in Frenchtown, where they’ll face off against Lake City, Idaho and Belgrade, and the Rocky Mountain Classic on Friday and Saturday in Missoula.
