The Bulldogs wrestlers capped off a strong year by fighting hard at the Class A State Tournament last weekend.

The team didn’t place at the tournament, scoring only 17 points, but sent two wrestlers to the second day of competition.

Jackson Carson (126) and Camren Ross (160) both advanced to the consolation bracket but couldn’t place.

Carson fell to Polson’s Kedrick Baker, who took fifth, by major decision. Ross fell to Ronan’s Daniel Collins Bishop.

Seniors on this year’s team include Dakota Flannery, who was unable to return to the state tournament after a year riddled with injuries, Leroy Orel, and Carson.
