Steven A. Filippone

Steven August Filippone, 66, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2020.

He is survived by his son Cole Filippone and his wife Amber; his significant other Rebecca Normile; his sister Susan Hirtzel and husband Lawrence; and brother Patrick Hooper.

Steve was born in San Antonio, Texas. He moved to Whitefish, Montana, in 1978.

Steve was a partner of Whitefish Builders, the second oldest building company in town.

He was a master at his craft, building extraordinary custom homes in the Flathead Valley for over 25 years.

Steve was an avid skier, outdoor enthusiast with a love of travel.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
