Scott “Skittle” D. Little

Scott was born Sept. 13, 1965 in Great Falls, Montana, and passed away peacefully with his family at his side. He threw his last cast of life on Jan. 24, 2020, age 54.

Scott grew up in Whitefish and graduated from high school in 1984; he also attended the University of Oregon and University of Montana. He loved skiing, golfing, floating the rivers, and fishing on his favorite blue trout stream. Scott’s highlight was attending his annual camping trip.

He was a kind and gentle person, always sharing and giving to those in need. He spent his career in the construction, maintenance and irrigation of golf courses. He had the opportunity to assist in building many golf courses in Montana, Utah, and California; some of the which include Old Works in Anaconda, Double Arrow in Seely-Swan, Iron Horse, and Whitefish Lake South. He spent his last 15 years working in irrigation management at Iron Horse Golf Course.

Scott is survived by his parents, Jack and Jacqy Little, sister Tracy (Bill) Henderson and nephew Tyler Holtet.

The family would like to give their utmost thanks to the physicians and staff at Kalispell Regional Hospital; Swedish Liver Transplant Center, Seattle; and Home Options Hospice, Kalispell.

A funeral service will be held on April 25, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Whitefish. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020, 2 p.m., at the Palace Bar.
