Thank you Whitefish and the Winter Carnival for a fun and festive welcome.
What an honor to serve as Grand Marshal of the Carnival Parade. I greeted old friends and made new ones.
My out of town guests were impressed by the genuine friendliness and graciousness of the community. We enjoyed the winter wonderland beauty of the mountains, thrilled to go skiing on Big Mountain and treasured the experience of meeting the huskies on a dog sled adventure.
To learn how the Carnival Penguins came to live in Whitefish, the Polly Penguin book is available at the Stumptown Museum, The Toggery and the proceeds benefit the Winter Carnival.
My heart is in Whitefish!
