Foundation accepts grant applications

Whitefish Community Foundation is accepting grant applications for the 2020 Spring Community Grant Program.

The Community Grant Program is open to nonprofit charities located in Flathead County, that are not applying to participate in the 2020 Great Fish Community Challenge.

Applications must be submitted online, and nonprofits may request up to $4,000 in funding for projects or programs. The deadline to apply to the Spring Cycle is Thursday, March 26 at 4 p.m. Grant awards will be announced May 15. The 2020 Fall Community Grant Program will open Sept. 3 and close Oct. 29.

In 2019, the Whitefish Community Foundation proudly awarded over $89,000 to 32 different organizations through the program.

The foundation’s 20th anniversary in 2020, celebrates past, present and future. Since establishment in 2000, the Foundation has facilitated over $42 million in grants to nonprofits. The foundation serves as a catalyst for philanthropy by fostering collaborative and innovative giving in our community.
