Artist distributes calendars to health-care workers
The Nancy Cawdrey Gallery is offering a Christmas giveaway of 2021 fine art calendars to hundreds of frontline health-care workers.
The calendars feature 12 of the 25 wildlife paintings that Cawdrey has completed for “Forever Glacier: The Legacy Project,” a large traveling museum exhibit examining the major mammals of Glacier National Park as a microcosm serving to highlight the effects of climate change and habitat loss.
“My hope is that a gift of a calendar for 2021 might help overworked health-care professionals believe in a brighter and less stressful future,” Cawdrey said. “We thank you for your incredible service.”
This past year has been one of the most difficult in memory, amplified many times over for medical workers. Among those set to receive the gifts are the medical staff of Kalispell Regional Healthcare, the Montana Veterans Home in Columbia Falls, and the Billings Clinic Heart and Vascular in Missoula.
“Thank you to Nancy Cawdrey for this kind gift and for sharing her talents with our medical staff, recognizing the incredible work they, and our entire team at KRH, do for those we serve,” Tagen Vine, president of the KRH Foundation, said. “This expression of appreciation from the Cawdrey family is a testament to the strong bond between Kalispell Regional Healthcare, our caregivers, and our community.”
