Library takes storytime outside

Social distancing is no problem for the Whitefish Community Library’s storytime programs.

The library recently launched its Storytime Stroll, allowing young readers to follow a fun kids book page-by-page along the sidewalk on the north end of Spokane Avenue outside the library.

The Storytime Strolls are narrated by librarian Mary Drew Powers every Thursday at 11 a.m., and those who can’t make that time can come by anytime until 2 p.m. to follow the stories along at their own pace.

An accompanying activity is also provided on the east lawn behind the library following the story.
