Police calls: Worries about social distancing abound
Friday, April 17
12:35 p.m. A big yellow dog was running in and out of a Highway 93 intersection.
3:07 p.m. A caller took a picture of the lake while paddle boarding but hit his phone’s buttons too many times and subsequently called police.
4:29 p.m. Two kids were skating at the skate park, which is closed for social distancing reasons.
4:51 p.m. Two men were caught trying to steal a tip jar from a Second Street business.
Saturday, April 18
11:52 a.m. A caller thought they were watching someone try to break into a storage shed on Denver Street.
6:53 p.m. The caller watched someone go through mailboxes on Birch Point Drive.
Sunday, April 19
8:03 a.m. An Armory Road caller woke up to find a truck in a nearby ditch.
4:37 p.m. A Master Court caller was worried about the number of cars, including out-of-state cars, at a neighbor’s residence.
8:24 p.m. A civil argument broke out because the caller was upset with how someone was doing dishes.

8:42 a.m. Someone broke into an abandoned apartment on O’Brien Avenue and “trashed and spray painted” the place.
2:05 p.m. A caller was worried about the people not social distancing near Riverside Park.

1:39 p.m. A caller wanted to speak with an officer about someone walking an unleashed husky.
5:56 p.m. A dog named “Colt” was found on Central Avenue.
6:02 p.m. A man was being “volatile and drunk” at a Baker Avenue property.
Wednesday, April 22
6:46 p.m. A Baker Avenue tenant claimed his landlord kept entering his apartment and harassing him.
7:07 p.m. The caller was reporting that her unlocked car was broken into days before.
8:48 p.m. A caller saw a man and woman either play fighting or really fighting on the golf course.
Thursday, April 23
3:33 p.m. A Second Street caller found a white rabbit with brown spots.
7:42 p.m. A nursing home resident injured the caller’s ankle by running her over with their wheel chair.
