Philanthropic excellence

The last month has been a whirlwind of rapid change and outstanding philanthropic response. Two leaders in corporate philanthropic excellence are Town Pump Foundation and Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation. The two companies have distributed $1.45 million to frontline nonprofits across the state over the last three weeks. The rapid deployment of these funds gives North Valley Food Bank and other nonprofits the ability to respond quickly to surging community needs.

We’ve received a record number of donations over the last four weeks — 191 to be exact. Local businesses like Top Copy, Nelson’s Hardware, Skin Food Organics, Tim Murphy Insurance Agency, Lindsey Jane Photography, Frame of Reference and Whitefish Mountain Resort are among the many who have responded to our needs. A wonderful thank you is extended to the 191 foundations, businesses, and individuals who have given us the ability to respond quickly to COVID-19.
