Svein Jenshus

Svein Jenshus of Sun Lakes, Arizona, passed away Aug. 26, 2019.

He was born in Norway and immigrated to the U.S. in 1953 where he met his wife of 65 years on the ship Stavangerfjord. His occupation began in this country as a pastry chef, and also a real estate agent. He has written the books “50 Years as a U.S. Immigrant: and How I Got Here.”

He is survived by his wife Liv Jenshus, two sons and one daughter, Dag Jenshus of Whitefish, Montana, Earl Jenshus of California, and Gina Jenshus of Arizona, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

No services are planned as per his wishes. He will be greatly missed.
